Data Entry Clerk
General Responsibilities:
- Be responsible to the General Manager and Database Manager for supervision and guidance of the District from policies established by the Board of Directors in order to carry out the District’s policies, programs and objectives.
- Responsible for general office duties: Data entry, mailing, answering the phone, typing, scanning, and copying documents.
Specific Duties:
Helping Customers: Take chemigation applications and receive and process well permits. Help process irrigated acre transfer and groundwater transfer applications. Help producers complete crop reports and water use reports.
Staff Support: Make copies, prepare outgoing correspondence, take messages, filing, data entry, maintain mailing lists, assist with newsletter mailing preparation, and assist with customer/producer mailings for NRD programs.
Data Management: Enter data into NRD databases and spreadsheets. Review data, perform quality control checks and revise data as needed. Retrieve data and prepare and transmit reports to state agencies and the NRD Board of Directors.
