Before chemigating, you must obtain an applicator's certification number. Chemigation certification classes are held every February and March. Contact your local Extension office about chemigation training.
The chemigation certification program is responsible for training Nebraska producers about the Nebraska Chemigation Act and its accompanying rules and regulations developed by DWEE. Those seeking certification must complete training and pass an exam.
A chemigation applicator certification card is issued to successful applicants by DWEE. Chemigation certification is valid for four years.
